ADIPEC 2015 Still a Major Powerhouse

March 7, 2017

The city of Abu Dhabi is considered the oil capital of the world. So it's fitting that it hosts ADIPEC, the Middle East’s largest and most important oil and gas event. After seeing the event ignite over the years, dmg events wanted to fuel ADIPEC’s standing as a global meeting point and world class platform in driving the industry forward.

This was the fifth year we partnered with dmg events to provide our core services to the event. With almost a 25% increase in space on the show floor our services increased in tandem with a 10% increase in shell scheme and 50,000m2 of carpet. Our main services included floor planning, electrics, graphics and modular stands that covered an area of 4,000m2. Feature areas included registration, capital suites as breakout rooms, a media office and lounge, delegate registration desks and information counters.

With two extra halls this year we had double the amount of exhibitors that needed graphics and these additional stands were supplied with our new stock of furniture.

Our new AV partner, Blitz | GES, allowed us to improve our service on the technical front with onsite technical support, equipment and advice for the conference set up, media centre, internet cafes and for exhibitors who requested digital engagement for their visitors.

The exhibition was considered a success with a total of 85,000 visitors attending. Many commented on the productive experience in commercial terms of the huge event, with more indoor exhibitions and additional outdoor space for marine and offshore.
